Shri G.D Kothari – a philanthropist of stature and foresight, had a dream – to assimilate the finest medical & surgical talents and serve the nation through modern technique and advanced medical care.

His dream took shape in 1971 in the form of Kothari Centre for Gastroenterology. With a dedicated team of medical and paramedical staff Shri Kothari laid the foundation stone of Kolkata’s premier, technologically superior Kothari Medical Centre
